End of 2007

Greetings to all,

I hope that when you read this you have had a blessed and thoughtful Christmas. Well at the time I started writing this, there are only 4 more hours until 2008 is here. I am not sure what to think. I personally have mixed thoughts at this time of year. With one year ending comes a chance to look back at how we have grown--mentally, physically, and most importantly, spiritually. With another year beginning, is the chance to start new things that will help us grow in these areas. May I suggest something? This new year, "Take time". Take time for quiet time with God. It really helps. Take time to pray, study His Word the Bible, and just meditate on how much He loves you and how much cares for you. Take time to enjoy some things that you would not (as of now) normally enjoy.

With the new year upon us may we all strive to be more like Jesus!!

Be ye followers of me, even as I also am of Christ.

GYC so far...

Sorry, but I am not actually at GYC this year. Although I should have gone... :( However I did see the evening session on 3abn just a few minutes earlier. Good stuff. If you have missed any of the programs, visit Hope Media at www.hopevideo.com/. There you can watch the video recordings. If you have no idea of what GYC is.... You have been missing out!! If you know about GYC, please make plans to attend next year which will be in San Jose, California.

Please also keep someone in your prayers, Al Huong. I do not know too much right now, but he is in the hospital in critical condition. He is a friend, and young man who is very committed to serving God.

"And I saw another angel fly in the midst of heaven, having the everlasting gospel to preach unto them that dwell on the earth, and to every nation, and kindred, and tongue, and people, saying with a loud voice, Fear God, and give glory to Him; for the hour of His judgment is come: and worship him that made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and the fountains of waters.
Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus."
