Stuff for July 30, 2006

This past Thursday, some friends of mine and I went over to Market night here in Redlands to help with a 'survey'. It was a survey. We were using to do some ground work for the Freedom From Fear 2006 crusade. I do not think I did that great of a job, but I am told that at least I tried.

My friend James is doing better. He is walking better now, but will need to undergo some more surgeries. Please pray for him.

If anybody knows how to get to Tim's house, please let me know...

The fear of the LORD is the beginning of knowledge: but fools despise wisdom and instruction.

Sfuff for July 25, 2006

First I would like to ask that you please keep a friend of mine and his family in your prayers. His name is Jesse. He has a lot on his mind. I just found out today that back on father's day, his mom suffered a seizure. She can not drive right now, but is doing ok, according to Jesse. He had some scans done, MRI, CAT scan, and others and they are expecting the results soon. Also one of Jesse's aunts lives in New York, and she has a skin disease.
Thanks.

In other stuff... The heat wave continues..... For those of you who do not live in Southern California, yay for you. We are in the middle of a heat wave with temperatures in the high 90's to the mid to even high 100's. Ugh........ How does one keep cool? Air conditioning, swimming pools, vegan ice cream, the normal stuff. Or one could go over to Tim Arakawa's new house...

Elder Randy Skeete spoke locally this past weekend. I was able to attend one of the meetings. Good stuff. If you would like to listen to the sermons, they should be available on audioverse.org soon.

Some friends of mine left on a mission trip for the Philippines a couple of weeks ago. You can click here to see their blog.

Sorry, still no pictures from Steve and Shylene's wedding. But you can click here and go to their blog.

There are a couple of big things happenning in September. For more info on one of them, click here. As the dates get closer, I hope to post some more information about them here.

You might want to try out naturalencyclopedia.com. They have some good stuff there.

Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

It wasn't really good...

I am writing this post after reading something. Please follow the following link to read for yourself what I read.

Please click here...

I have not yet seen the National Geographic program for myself, and based on what I read, I would like to advise anybody that does watch it to watch it with a very discerning eye.

Please trust only what the Bible says, and not what anybody else may say. I would encourage everybody to read the Bible for yourself.

This is big... Secrets of Revelation (Nat. Geo...)

This is really big. I just remembered something that I should have posted earlier had I remembered it.

"On February 11, a film crew from the National Geographic Media Department arrived at Sacramento Central Church to record Sabbath services and to interview with Pastor Doug regarding the book of Revelation. Their purpose is to discover why a book written so long ago is still considered relevant today... " --taken from www.AmazingFacts.com

Anyhow, the people from National Geographic have finished their presentation and it will air starting tomorrow. It will air several times during the next few days. Click here to get a link to the National Geographic webpage describing it.

If you would like to read up on some of the posts by Amazing Facts during the time this was being filmed and edited here are the page links.

Reminder about airing

This is a wonderful opportunity to share the prophecies of Revelation with those who need to know, and introduce them to the Bible. Seeing as how this will be aired a few times, you have many opportunities to watch with more people.

As Danny Shelton from 3ABN says, "May God richly bless you abundantly more than you could ever ask or imagine."

Need a friend?

Earlier last night I once again was reminded of something. If you ever need a friend to lean on, talk to, or just someone to be there when you need it, you will always have one in Jesus!!

Cast thy burden upon the LORD, and he shall sustain thee: he shall never suffer the righteous to be moved.
Psalm 55:22

God is so good!!

My blogspot...

Hi. Welcome to my second blog site :) ! I decided to create this on the advice of some friends, and also seeing as some of them have multiple places for blogs, I figured, why not?

Anyhow, we shall see how long this dual thing works. Oh, and please bear with, I am still working on this site. Thanks.
